No Man´s Sky ORIGINS – SOL 011

This is starting to be really complicated when it comes to choosing the best images of each world because the new Origins landscapes are really awesome and so I hope you enjoy these “photos” now out of hundreds I took one each of the worlds.
After two years where I simply stopped caring about the No Man´s Sky worlds when “Next” ruined all the original 2016 worlds scale, exploring NMS worlds is now fun and exciting once again. As you can see from these initial “photographs” I´m now taking on my hiking, exploring the current alien planets inside the new No Man´s Sky ORIGINS update, awesome planetary geographies are back and they are out of this world.
The new terrain variation in NMS is fantastic and there´s a ton of new alien landscapes awaiting me to “photograph” them and share them in this blog.
The following pics are my first taken inside the game in two years. I´ve reset my “SOLs” and we are going to start from SOL 0001 ORIGINS simply because No Man´s Sky Origins is now a brand new game with many unseen worlds for us to discover.
Welcome back, travelers. Come walk with me.

One of the reasons I find NMS so appealing even when I just couldn´t care less about its game play features is the fact that NMS to me is more than a game. It´s an actual creative tool.
Because I´m a professional illustrator (www.icreateworlds.net) which deals a lot in creating imaginary landscapes, a game like NMS is an incredible unexpected creative tool, not only to plan my own visual compositions ( playing with the NMS camera to compose my shots for the “photos”) , but it also helps me a lot when it comes to plan for color and light within my own illustrations or concept art. In fact some of the new NMS can be so incredible that some actual resemble more watercolor or acrylic illustrations than something generated within a game.

No Man´s Sky Origins – Best Planets – The best mountain world I´ve found so far.

I´ve been an NMS fan since 2016 when everyone was hating the game and in fact I still “play it” in the same exact way I used to. What I love about NMS is exploring the landscapes. Some once called NMS a glorified walking simulator and to me that always sounded more like a compliment. I don´t care much for all the new gameplay features added in the game over the years because I “don´t play” the game; as what I always loved about NMS was that it gave me “real” worlds to just explore and walk on. Doing nothing but relaxing and photograph or film the worlds found. The publicity for NMS always claimed that we could be anything we wanted inside the game; a pirate, a trader, an explorer. Well, I´ve always been a photographer; (or a filmaker).

I look at the NMS landscapes the same way I look at real-life environments and I love to capture them in “photographs” (and now “film”). Above all NMS to me is a great inspiring tool to go and create my own artwork the same way a real sunset can inspire my imagination.
This video was going to be about several of the best new worlds I discovered inside ORIGINS but I found this incredible mountain planet and couldn´t stop photographing it and filming it. So this video now is just about this outstanding alien mountain world which to me is the best planet I´ve ever seen inside the game (although still a bit too smooth…) 😉 So come walk with me and explore some incredible, epic, and beautiful No Man´s Sky landscapes within a single world that deserves totally to be explored because we never know what incredible vista awaits us just above that next mountain ridge. This one is now my home base.
